Phew! Check me out. I’m smarter than a 5th grader (“I thought Europe was a country”).

I actually came across something like this earlier in the year for our school newspaper. The reading level is determined by the length of your sentences and the “bigness” of your words (I think…if I’m wrong, someone please correct me). Looks like, if you teach 11th grade long enough, you internalize “simple.”

Hey, I don’t need to feel smart. More people should “get” what I write. (I hope.)
